CADBLOX
CADBLOX uses a unique method to generate masonry take offs. Working from the architectural plan set, a full scale 3D model of the masonry is constructed by a computer. Product codes, colors, textures, and other information for the masonry specified in the job is imbedded into the model.
Once the model is accurately constructed, each unit is automatically counted yielding an exact bill of materials from the model. “Snapshots” of the model are then displayed in a drawing set showing location of special units and difficult areas of the structure. All “snapshots” display the manufacturer’s codes right on the units removing any guess work for the installer. It is also possible to select and count any portion of the model for large jobs that have staging requirements.
Projects placed through Masonry Resource Company are eligible for comparative masonry-takeoffs.
